‘Oh, Hello on Broadway’ headed to Netflix

Say hello to your next Netflix binge: “Oh, Hello on Broadway” will head to the streaming site June 13, star Nick Kroll announced Thursday on Twitter. “OH HELLO ON BROADWAY WILL PREMIERE ON @NETFLIX AROUND THE WORLD JUNE 13TH!!” he wrote, accompanying a short video. The Broadway comedy show, which wrapped this past January, stars Kroll and fellow comedian John Mulaney’s popular sketch duo Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland, a pair of elderly men from New York’s Upper West Side who have written a play. The pair’s alter egos gained popularity on Kroll’s Comedy Central show “Kroll Show,” and have also made appearances on several late night talk shows, including “Late Night with Seth Meyers” and “Conan.” “Oh, Hello on Broadway” launched first Off Broadway before heading to the Lyceum Theatre this past fall for a limited run, and featured an unannounced cameo at the end of every show. Famous faces that popped up included Aziz Ansari, Will Ferrell, Amy Schumer, Tina Fey, Seth Meyers and Stephen Colbert.
