‘Hello world!’ Oakland boy utters first words since accidentally shooting himself in the head

A four-year-old from Oakland, California has spoken his first words since accidentally shooting himself in the head in March. His grandfather, Ramon Price, posted videos to Facebook of his grandson uttering his first words in almost a month. In the video, Price says to his grandson, “A lot of people are praying for you N’avaun, say thank you.” The four-year-old turns to the camera with a big grin and says, “Thank you!” Jackson was also filmed saying, “Hello world! Hello Grandpa!” The young boy accidentally shot himself in the head when he found a gun at his Oakland home belonging to the family’s friend, Terrence Wilson, reports San Francisco TV news outlet KRON 4. Wilson was reportedly prohibited from owning a firearm due to prior felony convictions. The gun was left locked and loaded under Wilson’s pillow, reportedly how he slept every night.
