Northern Stars bolstered by Silver Ferns signing, former NZ defender returns

The signing of Silver Ferns midcourter Gina Crampton and the return of veteran former international defender Anna Harrison have bolstered the Northern Stars for next season’s Premiership. Crampton, 28, has previously played her entire ANZ Premiership career with the Southern Steel. “Gina has a wealth of experience and has already worked alongside Maia [Wilson] at international level and I’m really looking forward to seeing how that connection grows,” Stars coach Kiri Wills said. Crampton was part of the New Zealand squad which won the 2019 World Cup and will team up at the Stars with fellow Silver Fern Wilson, who returns for her fifth year in the purple strip.
