UK war veteran Sir Tom Moore was caught speeding aged 98

The British war veteran who raised millions for medical staff during the coronavirus pandemic has revealed he was caught speeding at aged 98. Sir Tom Moore received international recognition after raising more than NZ$63 million for NHS health staff fighting the Covid-19 pandemic by walking laps around his garden in England. The 100-year-old captain was even knighted by the Queen in July for his efforts. During a television interview with ITV’s Life Stories, Moore told host Piers Morgan that about two years ago he had been caught speeding and had to go on a driving awareness course as a result.
