Khởi động chiến dịch 350.org năm 2011 tại Việt Nam

Chiến dịch toàn cầu về biến đổi khí hậu 350.org năm 2011 tại Việt Nam đã khởi động vào chiều nay 11-8 với lễ phát động tại TP.HCM. Đại sứ thiện chí của chiến dịch – hoa hậu đẹp nhất châu Á năm 2009 Hương Giang – chính thức tuyên bố phát động chiến dịch tại Việt Nam năm 2011.

Con số 350 mang ý nghĩa kêu gọi mọi người trên toàn thế giới cùng thực hiện những hành động thiết thực ngừng sử dụng nhiêu liệu hóa thạch để giảm nồng độ dioxit cacbon từ 390ppm (phần triệu) hiện nay xuống mức an toàn 350ppm.

Chiến dịch 350.org năm 2011 tại Việt Nam có sự phối hợp thực hiện của Trung tâm Hỗ trợ Ứng phó Biến đổi Khí hậu (SCC) và Công ty Truyền thông Venus Communications. Đại diện của 350.org toàn cầu tại Việt Nam là bà Hoàng Thị Minh Hồng.

Hoa hậu Hương Giang – hoa hậu đẹp nhất châu Á năm 2009 – Đại sứ thiện chí của chiến dịch – chia sẻ: “Tôi rất vui khi được tham gia chiến dịch. Việc tham gia bảo vệ môi trường, chống biến đổi khí hậu không còn là câu chuyện của ngày mai mà cần phải làm ngay hôm nay bằng những hành động cụ thể nhất như để máy điều hòa trên 26 độ, khi in một tài liệu cân nhắc xem có cần thiết phải in không, hạn chế dùng ống hút…”.

Trong lễ phát động, nhóm nhạc Pi (chuẩn bị ra mắt với hai thành viên Khắc Duy, Hoàng Quân) đã biểu diễn ca khúc “Alien – Người ngoài hành tinh” – một sáng tác của nhóm. Đây cũng là ca khúc chính thức của chiến dịch 350.org năm 2011 tại Việt Nam

Chiến dịch 350.org được khởi xướng năm 2007 và hiện có mặt tại 188 quốc gia. Năm 2010, 350.org tiến hành một cuộc tổng động viên mạnh mẽ với quy mô lớn hơn. Vào ngày 10-10-2010- “Ngày hội Hành động toàn cầu” – đã có hơn 7.200 sự kiện cắt giảm phát thải dioxit cacbon tại 188 quốc gia, trong đó có 53 sự kiện tại Việt Nam.
