Across the country, COVID-19 has created a crisis at nursing home facilities. More than 100 residents and staff tested positive at a Tennessee rehabilitation center. Outside Baltimore, 77 seniors tested positive at one facility. In western Massachusetts, 11 veterans who lived at a home for soldiers died, including five who had tested positive for the virus.
Cedar Mountain Post Acute Rehabilitation in Yucaipa has been told to assume all its patients have COVID-19, San Bernardino County Department of Public Health Director Trudy Raymundo said. BURBANK, CA — Officials with Los Angeles County are responding to coronavirus outbreaks at 11 separate nursing homes, including the Alameda Care Center in Burbank. Other homes of concern include Silverado Beverly Place in Los Angeles and Kensington Assisted Living in Redondo Beach.
