Slow development of resettlement zones blamed for Long Thành Airport delay

In the first phase, a runway and one passenger terminal along with other support works will be built to serve 25 million passengers and 1.2 million tonnes of cargo each year. This phase, covering an area of 1,810 hectares, is expected to be completed by 2025.

Long An’s district recognized as new-style rural area

Chau Thanh district has been named as a new-style rural area. More than 1.7 trillion VND (73.19 million USD) were mobilized to carry out the program. Of which, local residents and businesses contributed 23.8 percent and 10.6 percent, respectively, while the rest came from the State budget.

HCM City delayed metro project sped up

HCM City is speeding up the construction of a local metro project which has been continuously delayed.  The HCM City Management Authority for Urban Railways on Monday held a ceremony to announce the connection of the 2.6 kilometre underground section with Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien metro project’s remaining part.
